A-F State Accountability Ratings Released
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the "What If" A-F ratings for Domains I-IV based on data from the 2015-16 school year. To reiterate the communication sent to parents from earlier in the week, these new A-F ratings are hypothetical; in August 2016, TEA released the official state accountability ratings for the 2015-16 school year in which each LISD campus and the district received a "Met Standard" rating.
Due to projected enrollment size for the 2017-2018 school year, this campus has been closed to new transfers, except consideration will be given to siblings of students who currently attend and who will attend next year. Please be aware that if your student is not zoned to this campus or does not already attend this campus on an approved transfer, this campus is closed and will not be accepting any NEW transfer requests for the following school year, 2017-2018.
All requests to transfer/remain as a transfer must be submitted by the priority deadline date (March 19) each year in order to be considered.
The 6 week program is designed to help parents nurture responsible, respectful, fun to be around children who will learn how to make their own choices, own their problems, think for themselves, while parents let the empathy and consequences do the teaching.
Looking for more information about our PTA or want to join today? Want to sign up to volunteer for an upcoming event? You can do all of these things and more by visiting the Camacho PTA website.
Do you want to be a Camacho Volunteer?
All current LISD volunteers are required to reactivate their volunteer application if they want to volunteer for the 2016-2017 school year. If you are new to Camacho you will also need to fill out the volunteer application in order to volunteer in the classrooms, in the library, on field trips, or to help with PTA events. When you get your approval confirmation email please print out your badge at home and bring it to the front office. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers!
Primary purpose is to
provide for and ensure the safety of the children as they enter crosswalks
going to and from school. Duties will require working outdoors under a
variety of weather conditions. No experience is required, but must have
basic knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures. Schedule will
occasionally vary to accommodate early release days.
LISD Bus Route Information Available Online Aug. 10
On Aug. 10, Leander ISD parents can enter their home address into Infofinder i, an online tool available on the LISD website, to look up their child’s bus number and pick-up/drop-off times and locations for the coming school year. In an effort to reduce expenses and ensure real-time accuracy, the district does not print and distribute bus route schedules prior to the start of school. Bus routes are subject to change, and so LISD parents are strongly encouraged to confirm their child’s bus information again the week prior to the start of school, Aug. 15-19. For transportation questions, please call 512-570-0700.

The district’s online tool, TXConnect, allows LISD parents to easily monitor their child’s achievement throughout the school year. LISD parents can use txConnect to access their child’s grades and assignments, view their child’s STAAR (or TAKS) results, immunizations, and much more! Click here for more information
